GLOSSette here!!! I recently watched a video from Imy showing her 2013 Filofax set up. She showed a cute way in which she displayed her new year’s resolutions. I found it very cute and that if I did it the same way it would motivate me to stick to my goals. I posted on twitter that I have done such thing and was requested to show it so here we are.
Let’s back track a bit…few days ago I posted a video showing you my current 2013 Filofax set up with my personal Malden. In the video of course I showed my to-do lists section which I have a list of resolutions I would like to work on this year. It is written on nice colored lined paper with colorful pens. Still very pleasing to the eye but nothing beats Imy’s set up.
I have since organized my goals on cute paper sticky flags and have them placed on a cardstock (cut to size) peeking through my flyleaf. As you can see below it would’ve been nice if I used a flyleaf I have not plastered with stickers. The bottom two goals are slightly covered cuz of that but it is still managable and VERY MOTIVATING! AND I just realized there is a sticker on the top right that says “you can do it” so as another way to pump me up.
Now that you’ve seen my goals set up I’d like to see what your goals for 2013 are and what you do to help to stay on track. Let’s get motivated together!

GLOSSette here! Hope ya’ll are in a very festive holiday spirit. I am starting to come down with a cold which I hate at this time of year. I’m popping Tylenol and Fishermen cough drops. Such is life… BUT I received something extra special at work yesterday.
I don’t know if I ever mentioned what my “day” job is but I do work with kids in a out of school care program. I started in August so only a short 4 to 5 months. Since the school year started in Sept I worked for two months with the grade 1’s and 2’s. They are such lovely kids. Some of the little boys can be brats at times lol. There’s this little girl (very cute I must say) who I talk to a lot cuz she doesn’t have anyone to play with. She plays with the boys sometimes cuz she LOVES Pokemon cards. I think she has over 100 cards.
So for only two months I didn’t think she’d get me anything. I mean I do still see her at work and sometimes I work / help out with the little little ones like her. I didn’t think any kids would get me anything. Some have already given us joint gifts of luxurious box of chocolates which we are all just chowing down like vultures.
She came up to me yesterday right before she left to give me a small present. I thought that she gave one to each staff. When I saw only one other staff had it I didn’t want to brag or say anything. I felt so special since the other staff is the supervisor for the little ones. My co-coworker thought the gift was for all to share until she saw her name on the gift.
I wonder if she picked out the gifts or not. The fruit shaped soap is a new line of products from The Body Shop that is said to be great stocking stuffers for kids on their website. And of course no Christmas gift is complete without some chocolates. Anywhoo without further rambling… HERE IT IS!

GLOSSette here! It seems like I haven’t done a makeup related blog post in such a long time. Well you are in for a treat. Thank you to Tanisha my awesome YouTube friend for sending me a little something. Well… I did win it in a giveaway she was hosting not long ago. Here is a quick look at the palettes I won.
The palettes she sent me are limited edition and no longer available so I’m going to be sharing with you similar palettes that ELF or Eyes Lip Face has to offer. ELF comes out with different sets of palettes each year called ELF Beauty Book. I got my first one a view years ago and am very pleased with it. The colors are rich and pigmented. A little goes a long way.
What is great about these palettes is that they are all contained into one thing with some even including eye primers or eyeliners. This is great to bring with you on the go or especially if you are traveling for the holidays.
Currently, ELF has the Beauty Book Eye Sets that come with 6 eye shadows, 1 eyeliner, 1 eye primer, 1 mirror, and a sponge applicator. There are three different sets to choose from.
Try one out! You won’t be disappointed. I might even bring one of the Disney Villain ones with me on my trip to the U.S. this holiday season.

GLOSSette here!!! Do you have a large Filofax or agenda that is too full and heavy for you to carry around with you in your purse? Admit it… we all like to stick everything possible into our Filofaxes. I gotta thank Maddy my personal malden for being super flexible thus being able to accomodate sooo many inserts. But if you do have an A5 or desk size and don’t want to downsize… well I got a SOLUTION for you.
I recently came across this awesome notebook style agenda/diary by Letts of London. The reason (well two to be exact) I bought it was 1) the inside is exactly like a Filofax and 2) it was on clearance for only 3 bucks. Or another way to think of this is a Filofax Flex system without having to get a cover since the cover is already pretty with an embossed design.
What you can do is carry this around with you when you are out and about. It is small enough to fit into a crossbody bag. Here is a closer look at what the Letts of London Slim Week to View Diary offers in my lovely little review.

GLOSSette here! Welcome to another week of my weekly diary views where you can basically “stalk” me and see what I have done all week. This week I decided to change things up and do the check box system. I didn’t really like it afterall as you see the end of the week got a bit slim. Friday I had a work party so I was prepping for that in the morning. I got sick of my thick unrully hair so I decided to trim and thin it. I do it on my own cuz I got thinning and trimming scissors. I am not pro by all means but the way I do it turns out to look real nice. The ends are initially cut quite blunt but it turns out great afterwards. All in all saving me 30 bucks. Also there were too many things I had to get done in the weekend that I just didn’t have time to put it in my Filofax….I think having the small amount of space to write in deterred me from it too.
