GLOSSette Here!! For some reason my mom wanted me to make shrimp today. I thought she meant the frozen bag of shrimp we got. Apparently I was wrong … we have this shrimp appetizer thing that you just pop in the oven. Ok so I was asking a friend on Youtube along with checking out my fave recipe website. I love cooking but I’m not that great at it plus never made shrimp before. I ended up texting my bf… that’s what you do when you run out of ideas lol j/k. It turned out really good so I’m gonna release my makeshift recipe.
Here is what you need… aka INGREDIENTS:
1/2 lb of shrimp (make sure they are peeled but the ends can be still intact… I used frozen)
2 tbsp of butter
1 clove of garlic
Seasoning to taste (I used pepper & Italiano seasoning cuz it has oregano and all the other seasonings you can think of in it)
Step 1: Brown butter and garlic
Step 2: Add shrimp and seasonings and cook till pink… simmer as neccessary
Step 3: Add starch to thicken sauce if you didn’t defrost the shrimp… this is a non sauce recipe
This recipe is meant for 2 people. It is great to eat with rice or bread. I only had 12 grain sandwich type bread so I had 2 pieces of that which I dipped into the sauce. Yum! If you try it out let me know and comment below.
